Georgia Farm Bureau created a
Forestry Division to help landowners manage and sell timber. Farm Bureau's
goal has always been to work for the benefit of the landowner.
Foresters are available to work for you, the landowner, to help appraise the
value of your trees.
The timber buyer does not work for you. He may consider your best interest,
but the company that writes his paycheck has his first loyalty, as it
should. However, the seller can level the playing field by enlisting the
help of an independent, professional forester.
A Georgia Farm Bureau forester is available to advise landowners as to the
different timber products that could be sold from their forest, the quantity
of these products and the price these products are worth.
Why not contact a Georgia Farm
Bureau forester to help value your timber? It may be that you could use long
term advice in your timber management. Call a Farm Bureau forester to
schedule an appointment to look at your timber.
